Hyperliquid wallet-intelligence terms, explained plainly.
Use this glossary to understand the language behind Isobath market pages, wallet records, Daily Tape, heatmaps, rotation, and Liquidation Watch. Each definition describes what the product can observe—and where the boundary is.
Observed exposure
The position value Isobath could observe for an account in a specific market and observation window. It is not a claim about the account's complete assets or identity.
Material change
A position opened, closed, increased, reduced, flipped, or a meaningful available-collateral change that meets Isobath's fixed ranking rules.
Before → after
The value at the beginning and end of an observation window. It shows the direction and size of a change instead of only the latest snapshot.
Coverage
How much of the relevant market or attempted wallet population an observation is drawn from. Lower coverage means the record is a narrower lower bound.
Observation window
The exact start and end times used to compare account state. Isobath keeps this window attached to the result so 'now' is never implied.
Wallet-market pair
One wallet watched on one market. The same wallet on BTC and ETH counts as two pairs because its exposure can differ by market.
Position flip
An observed change from long exposure to short exposure, or from short to long, within the comparison window.
Liquidation cluster
A price region where observed liquidation prices are grouped. It describes forced-flow exposure that was observed; reaching a cluster is not a prediction of price movement.
Market rotation
Observed reduction on one supported market alongside an increase on another for the same account inside a defined window. It describes the record, not the account's intent.
Provenance
The scan identity, schema, collector, and normalization context behind a figure or event.
